We are the UK’s leading equality recruitment site for candidates from across the diversity spectrum of Britain’s population. Because of our unique ability to access & support clients from all equalities groups, we are best placed to reach the right candidate for each employer's needs. Employers advertising here will be following the equality legislation guidelines of the Government and EU.

History

Equality recruitment is under the wing of parent organisation Wise Owls, which has been operating in the field of equality employment for over ten years. It is a not-for-profit organisation and was the first organisation to really champion the needs of the over 45’s particularly in relation to online employment and job searching.

Formed in 1999 to overcome ageism, Wise Owls was the UK's first older worker (45 -65+) website and support agency. When ageism in employment became an issue for the EU and the UK Government, Wise Owls won Government, European and Local Government contracts to support and train older people back into employment / self employment and carry out research into ageism.

Our ongoing success led to the expansion of our support to employers across the whole HR, equalities and recruitment spectrum as well as helping clients from all different ages and equality needs. www.equalityrecruitment.co.uk has been formed to consolidate all our equality partners and knowledge into one employer friendly site and service.
